Telephone solicitation: 43,000 reports since the ban
Since the new rules banning certain telephone solicitation practices took effect on 11 August, reports have multiplied. On 27 October, the DGCCRF said it had received 43,000 consumer reports concerning violations of the regulation. The following day it was noted that unsolicited commercial calls continued despite the ban. Voices are calling for more controls and harsher penalties.
