Fires: testimonies in Correns and Loto funds for Var and Drôme
A fire that occurred during the summer near Brignoles required 14 days of active firefighting. On October 27, 2026, the association Correns 21 invited residents of Correns to share their experiences as part of an artistic project. On the same day, over €7 million collected through the Loto (national lottery) was allocated to the ONF (National Forests Office) and the French Biodiversity Office. These funds are intended to finance studies and reforestation in the Var and Drôme areas devastated by fires.
