Vaucluse: Irishman given suspended sentence for assault on Jewish tourists in Pontet
An Irish citizen who assaulted a couple of Australian Jewish tourists in a hypermarket in Pontet in August 2026 was sentenced to six months in prison with a suspended term. Civil parties consider the sentence 'not dissuasive enough'.
