LFI's parliamentary niche at the National Assembly

On October 29, 2026, during its parliamentary niche, LFI passed three bills at the National Assembly, on AESH, undivided ownership in overseas territories, and coverage of care for victims of sexist and sexual violence, despite RN obstruction. The Assembly notably voted a text creating a fully covered care pathway for victims of sexual violence, at the end of a tense session. Deputy Jérôme Legavre denounced RN obstruction against these texts. Due to a delay on other texts, LFI was unable to submit its proposal for a 10-year moratorium on the Seine-Nord canal to a vote, which is shelved.
