The Truly association, based in New Caledonia, baits online child sex offenders with fake profiles of minors and has sent nearly 400 reports to the judiciary in six years. A 51-year-old man from Orne was convicted on November 4, 2026 to ten months' imprisonment under electronic monitoring.
