Pierrefeu: hare hunting banned after first case of myxomatosis in Var

The Pierrefeu hunting society has banned hare hunting since October 26 after the discovery of a dead hare carrying the virus. It is the first case of myxomatosis in the Sud region, according to the departmental hunters' federation.
